SUMMARY

The Web 2.0 experience was great!!! I learned a lot of technology that I didn't even know existed. I know this was just a sampling of the technology available but I think Kiera did a great job putting this program together. Thanks for a valuable and rewarding experience.

AUDIOBOOKS

This was interesting. I'll be excited to receive my MP3 player so I can download some of the books. It's amazing to me all the technology available.

BOOKCAST FRANKLY MY DEAR

I loved the movie "Gone with the Wind." When I heard this podcast I thought this would be a great addition to my blog. I've been really busy and really haven't had much time to work on my blog so I'm trying to finish it this week before Spring Break.

YouTube

This was really fun to create. It would be a great teaching tool. As I've told you before I'm obsessed with the Twilight Saga.

WEB 2.0-VUFIND & BIBLIO

I went into both of these Web 2.0 Award winners. I looked around and I think both of these would be somewhat useful to the library. If a teacher or student comes in looking for an out-of-print title you would go to Biblio. They have listings for rare books also. No matter what topic you want to look up you would look it up in Vufind.

RED-TAILED HAWK-CREATED IN ZOHO

RED-TAILED HAWK

There was a news coverage on the red-tailed hawk the other night on the news. What a coincidence, I actually saw one yesterday when I was coming back to work after lunch. It is such a beautiful bird. On the news the other night they stated that their were more and more migrating in North Texas. You can find them in bare trees or on tall light poles.

Zoho is so cool!!! This is the document I created and it published it right to my blog. It was sooooo easy. Anyone can do it. Just think what the students can create with these tools.

WIKIS

I love the Book review wiki but I they need to add more titles. This would be a great tool for students to let other students know what books they liked and the ones they didn't like etc. Like a discussion board we could post on our Library websites. I loved the wiki for the Bull Run Library. Lots of information.
